Project 24 is excited to share with you an interesting opportunity for you and ideally a team from your district to participate in a Massive Open Online Course for Educators (MOOC-Ed) on the Digital Learning Transition. This free, online course is designed to help district and school leaders plan for the effective use of technology. The Digital Learning Transition MOOC-Ed was created by the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation at NC State University’s College of Education and the Alliance’s Project 24 initiative. Registration for the MOOC-Ed is open here for the Digital Learning Transition MOOC-Ed, which will begin on September 30th. Each participant will have the opportunity to interact with education leaders from across the country and world.
This iteration of the course builds upon lessons learned from the first course last spring when more than 2,600 district and school leaders and teams participated. You can learn more about findings from the first course in a recently released paper, The Digital Learning Transition MOOC for Educators: Exploring a Scalable Approach to Professional Development.
